This year's GM Conference takes us to the magnificent LOS CABOS located at the south end of the Baja California Peninsula. It's a real paradise between the Sea of Cortes and the Pacific Ocean with a unique mixture of desert landscapes, beaches and mountain ranges.
Los Cabos encompasses the two crown jewels on its southernmost shore: Cabo San Lucas, known for beaches, nightlife and El Arco (the famous arch at Lands End pictured above - where the Sea of Cortez and the Pacific Ocean meet); and the 300 year old San Jose del Cabo full of shops and bistros with quaint and colorful colonial charm.
What started as nothing more than a small fishing village, Cabo San Lucas now has some of the most luxurious resorts, world-class Marina and the biggest fishing tournament in the world. People come from all over the world to enjoy the beautiful beaches, nightlife, deep-sea fishing, championship golf courses, exquisite spas, scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking, horseback riding and dancing 'til dawn.
Located in a new Diamante Development west of Cabo San Lucas and facing due south, Hard Rock Hotel Los Cabos All Inclusive Resort is nestled within magnificent dunes on a stunning 1.5 mile sandy beachfront coastline with breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean. It includes two world-class golf courses and six miles of walking and hiking trails.
From anywhere on the beach, one is likely to see migrating California gray or humpback whales spouting or breaching offshore from December through March. Horseback riding is available (for a fee) and follows the contour of the dunes. For those wishing to enjoy a few drinks while overlooking the Pacific, there is no shortage of resort options. No matter your inclination, this is an oasis for all who seek natural beauty and adventure.
Sometimes, you truly can have it all. The resort covers every sun-soaked moment of delectable dining, glamorous entertainment, thrilling entertainment, exciting on-site recreation, even fine wine and top shelf liquor. That's right. It's all included. And if you're not feeling the all-inclusive love just yet, keep reading. You will be.
When the ocean's your soundtrack, it's easy to lose yourself in the moment. Go ahead...step out onto the balcony and invite the rhythm of the sea to mix with the electric sound waves of our era's greatest musicians. Then, soak up all those good vibes from the comfort of your outdoor hydro spa tub. Live like a legend with 24-hour in room dining. And experience all the non-stop service you can handle. Because at Hard Rock Hotel Los Cabos, every guest is nothing short of a rock star.
Whether it's a quick bite at the deli or an intimate sit-down affair, there are 8 restaurants that are perfect for every taste. Whether you’re in the mood for traditional Mexican, sushi, Italian, or rodizio, you’re in luck. Exotic ingredients and inspired cuisine are just some of the perks you'll enjoy.
All-inclusive benefits can be enjoyed throughout the resort, including all spa services listed in the Rock Spa menu. Reservations are based on availability. A 25% service fee will apply over the final price of all transactions using the Limitless All-Inclusive promotion on all services or products available at the Hard Rock Hotel. Service fee can only be paid with cash, room charge and credit card.

A PASSPORT CARD IS NOT A PASSPORT. You must have a valid U.S Passport that does not expire within 6 months from APRIL 22, 2021. Passport cards and photo IDs are not acceptable forms of identification for international travel.
If you need to apply for a passport, DO NO WAIT. Normal processing time is 4-6 weeks. See the links below for information on obtaining and updating your passport as well as expedited services through a secondary service company.
Please EMAIL US confirmation of your application date if you are applying or renewing.
Visas are not required for U.S. citizens.
*NOTE: Starting on October 1, 2020, anyone who resides in the United States, even if they're flying domestically or to U.S.A. territories, will need Real ID identification at minimum to pass through TSA security checkpoints at airports domestically. Your passport can work in place of a REAL ID for domestic travel—but a valid passport will still be required for international travel.
1. Make sure your PASSPORT is in your carry-on!
2. Arrival at Cabo San Lucas International Airport (SJD): Once you arrive at the airport, make sure you complete the customs documentation given to you on the airplane. Be sure to check the box that your visit is FOR VACATION/TOURISM purposes. Do not put "work-related."
3. Following Immigration, you may retrieve your luggage and proceed to Customs to hand the form to the Customs Agent. You will need to press a button on the “Traffic Light” which flashes a red or a green light. Green light means “go”, red means “Inspection”.
Officials perform a quick, courteous inspection and you will be on your way.
4. Proceed to provided transportation: Keep walking all the way to the outside of the building where you will see our uniformed Amstar staff in khaki pants and a blue flowered shirt. They will be holding a sign with “MCALISTER’S” and will escort you to your vehicle. Please do not let anyone talk you into paying for your own ride to the hotel.
5. The Hotel: The resort is about 40 minutes from the airport. You will arrive at the hotel where a bellman will greet and escort you to the special check-in area for our group. Here you will see our smiling faces waiting to greet you.
You will need to give the hotel your passport to make a copy. You will be required to put down a credit card for incidentals. However, you should not be spending much. Incidentals will include “service charges” you incur by using the resort credit, as well as wine bottles, spa services or excursions you book through the hotel.
After you get your room assignment, come to our table where we will hand you a t-shirt and agenda.
6. Resort Credits: Instead of Resort Credits, this year we have the Hard Rock Limitless benefits.
7. Your Time Here: Relax and enjoy your Deluxe Platinum suite, and get ready to enjoy your time off and have fun. We will gather @ 6pm the first evening for a small Welcome Reception to meet our fellow GMs and a few corporate representatives. Cocktails and appetizers will be open, but plan on having dinner in one the many wonderful restaurants on property.
SUNDAY morning there will be a mandatory meeting for Managers only – we promise not to take up too much of your time.
Los Cabos is blessed with year-round good weather. In October you will have hot days, warm nights and very warm water with high visibility for great swimming and snorkeling. Daytime high temperatures average around a comfortable 90°F, and lows average 70°F to 70°F at night. The humidity starts to go away mid-month making the weather about as good as it gets!
Plan your wardrobe with the climate in mind choosing materials that breathe like lightweight cottons. Layered attire is appropriate at this time of year as mornings and evenings can be cool. Remember a swimwear cover-up for the journey from guest room to beach or pool.
Tropical resort wear is suitable for daytime: sundresses or loose shirts paired with capris, walking shorts or light-weight pants. A light jacket is also good to have. Choose your evening's wardrobe with your choice of resort restaurant in mind.
